Research Highlights: 

The ultimate goal of the laboratory is to understand the mechanism of action of glycoprotein hormones at the molecular level and our specific aims are understand how these hormones bind to their specific receptor and decipher the mechanism of signal transduction. To do this, the lab has applied a variety of tools from over-expression and purification approaches for in vitro characterization to production of monoclonal, polyclonal and hybrid antibodies for the purpose of structure-function elucidation of receptors involved in these major signalling pathways.
