Research Areas:
DNA repair, Chromosome instability, Genetic diseases and Cancer
Research Highlights:

Our lab is interested in understanding the molecular mechanism(s) of DNA damage signaling, homologous recombination (HR) mediated DNA repair, genome instability in cancer, and various genes that regulate these processes. We are also interested in studying various helicases and other DNA repair/recombination proteins from M. tuberculosis through genetic, biochemical and biophysical approach. Understanding the role of these proteins could provide new insights into the pathogenesis of M. tuberculosis in humans.
